SHUC Annual Community Meeting

The 2026 SHUC Board Meeting will be at JCC's Levinson Hall.

We invite you to join us for our SHUC Annual Community Meeting on Tuesday, September 15th, at 6:30 PM at the JCC’s Levinson Hall. This is a great opportunity to hear from city officials, get updates on local programs, learn about SHUC and our upcoming events, projects, and how to get involved with our SHUC committees. Light snacks and water will be provided! Bring your friends, neighbor, family, and see you there!

All regular board meetings for the rest of 2026 will be held in person in the JCC's room 202 on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, except in July and December. We are thankful to the JCC for providing space for our monthly community meetings!

Meetings are free and open to the public. If needed, there is usually sufficient space for social distancing.

Preserving, Improving, and Celebrating the Quality of Life in Squirrel Hill

For over fifty years, the Coalition has been an active and important link in the community. It has served as a sounding board for new ideas, as well as a “watchdog” in the areas of public safety, education, residential quality, the business district, and parks and open space. With its focus on the quality of life in the 14th Ward, SHUC continues to monitor activities and future developments in the community through a range of standing committees.
