Pittsburgh Arts Commission meeting + public review for Fern Hollow Bridge artwork proposals

The artists Carin Mincemoyer and John Peña will present their design concepts for artwork at the reconstructed Fern Hollow Bridge to the Pittsburgh Arts Commission. Their work will include enhancements to the Pedestrian and Cyclist Experience on the deck of the bridge and to the Trail and Park User Experience below the bridge.
PennDOT has given the public the opportunity to send comments/information to the artists who are designing the artworks/experiences. If you would like to submit comments or feedback, you can do so here.

For over fifty years, the Coalition has been an active and important link in the community. It has served as a sounding board for new ideas, as well as a “watchdog” in the areas of public safety, education, residential quality, the business district, and parks and open space. With its focus on the quality of life in the 14th Ward, SHUC continues to monitor activities and future developments in the community through a range of standing committees.
