Pittsburgh Honey's Neighborhood BEE-utification Day

In celebration of Earth Day, Pittsburgh Honey is inviting you to join them on the morning of Saturday, April 23rd, BEE-utifying our neighborhood and picking up trash and recyclables along Forward Avenue, Beechwood Boulevard, and the Parkway. Safety vests, work gloves, trash bags, and water will be provided. Please RSVP using the link above.
For safety purposes, volunteers must be 13 years or older to participate, and those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. In the event of inclement weather, the cleanup will be rescheduled to a later date.

Preserving, Improving, and Celebrating the Quality of Life in Squirrel Hill

For over fifty years, the Coalition has been an active and important link in the community. It has served as a sounding board for new ideas, as well as a “watchdog” in the areas of public safety, education, residential quality, the business district, and parks and open space. With its focus on the quality of life in the 14th Ward, SHUC continues to monitor activities and future developments in the community through a range of standing committees.
