SUMMERSET AT FRICK PARK – FRICK PARK EXTENSION

ARTISTIC ENHANCEMENT BY TIM KAULEN AND INDUSTRIAL ARTS WORKSHOP

PARCEL 88-M-200

After working closely with the Summerset Neighborhood Association throughout the concept development process, Tim Kaulen, Executive Director of Industrial Arts Workshop, will present to the Squirrel Hill Urban Coalition on conceptual designs for a public art piece that is planned to be located along Parkview Blvd in Summerset at Frick Park.

The Industrial Arts Workshop’s mission is to advance, inspire and educate people through the creation of art. This is accomplished by promoting artistic literacy through the of original works of sculpture, inspiring and supporting sculpture artists and their work, and creating accessible education programs, projects, and community outreach.

The piece designed for Summerset at Frick Park is intended to be an interpretive and legacy artwork in celebration of a shared community destination; dynamic and meaningful to the neighborhood, while accessible and engaging to all those who visit.

Join us to view the design, ask questions, and provide feedback.
