SHUC is hosting a community presentation by City Planning and Port Authority on the current planning of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. The BRT project is intended to better connect communities in the Downtown-Oakland-East End corridor, and more specifically connect residents to job centers, educational opportunities, medical services, and cultural attractions.

The purpose of this meeting is to:
Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh and Port Authority would like input from YOU, our community stakeholders and local residents, prior to submitting the grant application to help fund this project. What are your thoughts on the service alternatives? Would you like to see a Locally Preferred Alternative route as a part of this phase of the planning? What route alignments would you prefer thorough Oakland, Downtown, and Uptown?
