2023 Pittsburgh Recovery Walk

Sep 16, 2023 - Sep 16, 2023 | 9:00 am - 11:00 am

The purpose of the Pittsburgh Recovery Walk is to celebrate the many roads to recovery from addiction and all those who travel them. Specifically, the walk aims to:

  • Celebrate recovery and recovery supports in our region
  • Eliminate stigma toward people personally impacted by addiction
  • Showcase the many resources for recovery support, health, and harm reduction in our region

Recovery Pathways

The Pittsburgh Recovery Walk celebrates all roads to recovery, which we know are as varied as the actual roads in Pittsburgh. Some are bumpy, some are steep, and some are less-traveled. All are cause for celebration. And the more we know about these roads, the more we can–individually and as a community–provide useful support to those who need help. Learn more

For over fifty years, the Coalition has been an active and important link in the community. It has served as a sounding board for new ideas, as well as a “watchdog” in the areas of public safety, education, residential quality, the business district, and parks and open space. With its focus on the quality of life in the 14th Ward, SHUC continues to monitor activities and future developments in the community through a range of standing committees.
