2023 SHUC Treasure Awards Event!


On November 8th, the Squirrel Hill Urban Coalition held our annual Treasure Awards Dinner! Thank you to everyone who supported and joined us. We truly appreciate your support of  our organization and making everything we do possible!

Save the Date for the Litter Patrol Earth Day Event! 
March 23, 2025

Litter Patrol will host group and individual clean-ups the week leading up to the Earth Day cleaning event from Monday, April 21st, to the in person event on Sunday, April 21st, from 9 am -12 pm starting at Forbes and Murray in front of the Squirrel Hill Carnegie Library.

Preserving, Improving, and Celebrating the Quality of Life in Squirrel Hill

For over fifty years, the Coalition has been an active and important link in the community. It has served as a sounding board for new ideas, as well as a “watchdog” in the areas of public safety, education, residential quality, the business district, and parks and open space. With its focus on the quality of life in the 14th Ward, SHUC continues to monitor activities and future developments in the community through a range of standing committees.
