SHUC successfully concluded its participation in the two-month-long series of Bach, Brunch, and Beethoven (BBB) events, hosted by City Parks to showcase some of the great music performers of Pittsburgh. Every Sunday, we faithfully attended these gatherings at the beautiful Mellon Park, where classical music enthusiasts came together to enjoy the soothing melodies. As part of our efforts to make the experience more family-friendly, we partnered with Playful Pittsburgh to set up a delightful kids’ corner. This dedicated area allowed children to have a great time while their parents indulged in the classical tunes. The games provided by Playful Pittsburgh proved to be a hit among the little ones, becoming their absolute favorites throughout the BBB events.
We invite you to join us for our SHUC Annual Community Meeting on Tuesday, September 15th, at 6:30 PM at the JCC’s Levinson Hall. This is a great opportunity to hear from city officials, get updates on local programs, learn about SHUC and our upcoming events, projects, and how to get involved with our SHUC committees. Light snacks and water will be provided! Bring your friends, neighbor, family, and see you there!
