A draft version of five bike loops in and near Squirrel Hill is now available for comment! The loops, developed by SHUC Bike-Ped Committee member Mary Shaw, are available as an interactive map and a PDF file with brochures for each of the loops.
In addition to directions, each loop comes with a description of the ride (including challenging portions), advice for extending the ride, safety tips, and information on nearby healthy ride stations. It even comes with KMZ files that can be uploaded to your favorite navigation app!
Take a look at the bike loops, try some out, and let us know what you think! Please send comments to cmuloops@freewheelingeasy.com.

Preserving, Improving, and Celebrating the Quality of Life in Squirrel Hill
For over fifty years, the Coalition has been an active and important link in the community. It has served as a sounding board for new ideas, as well as a “watchdog” in the areas of public safety, education, residential quality, the business district, and parks and open space. With its focus on the quality of life in the 14th Ward, SHUC continues to monitor activities and future developments in the community through a range of standing committees.
